Overview
Partnering with Mike Mulligan (Executive Producer), I re-imagined Promise Center’s main commons as “Pathfinders Base Camp,” a timber-frame lodge where spiritual “hikers” refuel, connect, and gear up before heading back onto the trail of faith. The narrative, rooted in 2 Samuel 22:37 (“You broaden the path beneath my feet”), frames church life as an expedition: guests return to base camp, share trail wisdom, then blaze new paths with Jesus.
My Contributions
- Built the story spine
- Characters = Trail Hikers

- Plot = Resupply → Rest → Return
-
Directed overarching art direction and curated nature-inspired mood boards (cedar, canvas, topo maps), driving finishes, signage, and lighting.

Led concept-art reviews with Frank Grau, locking hero moments from the indoor campfire commons to the ridge-runner play zone.

Deliverable & Impact
The blue-sky package: storyboard deck, napkin sketches, mood boards, hero elevations, phase-one graphics plan, equips Promise Center to fund-raise and phase-build a commons where families rally at “Base Camp,” deepen relationships, and stride back into the great unknown with renewed faith and courage.
