Overview
Big Idea – “Grow Disciples Who Grow Disciples: a biblical family that discovers, equips, and activates believers until unstoppable missional momentum takes root everywhere we go.”
Partnering with Phil Taylor (Executive Producer), I translated Hill Country’s mission and 40‑year church‑planting heritage into a unified visual language that balances stability and warmth. From a hill‑crest logo set and cross‑icon patterns to a deep‑blue / river‑blue palette, every element points back to the same story of multiplying disciples and churches across northwest Austin.
My Contributions
-
Distilled stakeholder insights into the big idea statement and five core tone words that anchor the guide.
-
Designed the logo family—stacked, horizontal, and icon marks—with clear‑space and minimum‑size rules.
-
Built the color palette (Deep Blue, River Blue, Pearl, Black, White) and selected the Hanley Pro / Montserrat type stacks for print and web.
-
Curated the tone board, cross‑icon pattern set, and photography guidelines that create visual cohesion across ministries.
Collaborative Team
-
Phil Tayler – Executive Producer | client relations, scope & budget alignment
-
Missy Anderson & Jasmine Holliday – Project Managers | schedules, deliverables, stakeholder feedback
Deliverable & Impact
The final brand‑language guide, logo specs, color and typography standards, pattern library, photography cues, and “dos & don’ts” equip Hill Country Bible Church to roll out a cohesive identity that rallies volunteers, clarifies communications, and visually proclaims its disciple‑multiplying mission in every medium.
