Overview
As Creative Lead, I partnered with Zachary Miller (Executive Producer) to craft “Wonder Outpost,” a reclaimed-lodge commons that invites guests to discover a forgotten refuge, take a seat to share stories, and explore the wild outside, a three-beat narrative that turns everyday fellowship into an expedition of faith. Drawing on national park lodges and trailhead graphics, I translated stakeholder goals into PlainJoe’s story model, setting the tone for materials, lighting, and guest flow.
My Focus
-
Initial Sketches – hand-drafted hero moments: timber-frame lobby, corrugated-metal “gear shed” check-in, and an indoor campfire storytelling zone.
-
Key Render – produced the cinematic anchor image that locked palette, light temperature, and visual hierarchy.
-
Mood Boards & Art Direction – curated nature-inspired boards (canvas, enamelware, trail maps) that guided every subsequent render and graphic.
Collaborative Team
- Sarah Nash – Project Manager | schedules, deliverables, budget
-
Zachary Miller – Executive Producer | client relations, scope & budget alignment
-
Tiffany Kelley – Graphic Designer | wayfinding and directional graphics, environmental typography, and concepts
The result is a fundraising-ready concept pack, story spine, floor-plan overlays, mood boards, and hero art that equips Faith Community to transform its commons into an experiential outpost where faith, fellowship, and the great outdoors meet under one roof.
