Overview

Big Idea – “Trail Blazers: forging paths that unleash our faith and freedom in Christ as we urgently seek to reach those who are lost along the trails here at Adventure National Park.”

Partnering with Blake Ryan & Joshua Smith (Executive Producers), I recast Creekside’s aging campus as “Adventure National Park,” a story-driven environment where everyday guests become trail guides who help others find freedom in Christ. The master plan threads boardwalks, lodge-style lobbies, and “trailhead” ministry hubs through a wooded adventure motif, culminating in an outdoor baptistry overlook that serves as both mile-marker and mission reminder.

My Contributions

  • Plot = Equip → Explore → Guide – anchoring every layout, material, and graphic.

• Directed campus-wide art direction, curating “national-park modern” mood boards (weathered timber, topo lines, enamel signage) that guided finishes, lighting, and guest flow.

• Led concept-art reviews with Frank Grau, locking hero moments like the Trailhead Lobby, Ridge-Runner Kids’ Zone, and Creek Crossing baptistry bridge.

Deliverable & Impact

The blue-sky package, storyboard deck, phased master plan, mood boards, hero renders, and brand toolkit equip Creekside Community Church to fund-raise and phase-build a campus where Trail Blazers gather at Adventure National Park, venture out on paths of discipleship, and guide the lost to freedom in Christ.
